Parade participate, Suzanne Balke, of Cole Camp, rides with her purple gorilla. “He rides with me during the Christmas Parade Too,” she said. Balke, vice president of the Christian Motorcyclists Association, of Sedalia, was riding along with several of her members.

Members of No Doubt Gymnastics, of Sedalia, felt the Irish spirit as they performed several moves while making their way down Ohio Avenue, Saturday morning.

VFW Post 2591 Honor Guard were lead by the Sedalia Police Department as the parade procession made their way from seventh Street onto Ohio Avenue.

This happy dalmatian wearing a lucky Irish lei, represents Animal F.A.I.R. (Foundation for Animals at Risk), of Sedalia. Several “Irish” dogs on leashes were brought by the group as well as by private citizens. The group specializes in animal adoption.

VFW Post 2591 Ladies Auxiliary President Vera Harrison, and several other women brought up the rear of the St. Pat’s Parade while encouraging the viewers to come to the Post at Second Street and Ohio Avenue for chili and Irish stew.
