On Thursday, Skyline Elementary School hosted their ninth annual Spring Talent Show in the gymnasium. Maelin Moore is dancing and singing from a scene from “Matilda.” Jacqui Ellis, the school’s music teacher, organized the event and said approximately 50 students took part in the show with dancing, acting, tumbling, piano and singing.

Much to the delight of students and staff, Kaelyn Kosal and Kendyl McCandless provide some entertaining gymnastics to the tune of “Mr. D.J. Turn the Music Up!” during the talent show.

Rehleigh Curry plays piano for Selah Robb and Paris Hammer as they sing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” Ellis told the students beforehand to be respectful. “When someone is on stage, do not sing along with them,” she said. “It is rude, we are here to hear them sing, just remember that.”
