Waverly man hurt in Saline County crash

A Waverly man was injured Sunday in an accident on U.S. 65 in Saline County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.


Enrique G. Toledo, 35, was taken by helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia. A hospital spokeswoman said she had no information about Toledo.


Toledo was northbound at 12:02 a.m. west of Grand Pass when his vehicle went off the left side of the road and hit an embankment. The vehicle was airborne and hit a second embankment before stopping.
