The Lincoln Cardinals beat the Rich Hill Tigers 50-21 on Friday night at Rich Hill.
The Cardinals were led by sophomore quarterback Boone Kroenke who passed for over 250 yds and 5 touchdowns. Sophomore receiver Mason Sanders caught two touchdowns and had 167 receiving yards. Junior tight end Lane Johnson also had two touchdowns on the night while junior receiver Jacob Copeland also had a receiving touchdown. Heath Renno led the rushing attack with 153 yds on the ground and two touchdowns.
The defense shut the Tigers out in the second half. Blake Dulaban, Connor Spunaugle and Derek Stephens led the defense in tackles. The Cardinals will play Sacred Heart at Lincoln next Friday.
