The Sacred Heart soccer team has reached the championship game of the Barstow Tournament with a 4-2 win over St. Paul Lutheran on Thursday.

The Gremlins got the scoring started early, when Max Martin found Mason Kelchner who scored on a header in the second minute of the game. A few minutes later, Brandon Cooper made it 2-0. Midway through the half, Cooper converted a corner kick from Kelchner for the third goal.

The Saints answered with just over a minute left in the half when Matias Gomez scored. Sacred Heart then made it 4-1 midway through the second on a goal from Sebastian Aguero-Soliz assisted by Martin.

The Saints scored in the 74th minute on a goal from Adam Rajcan.

The Gremlins will play in the championship game at 1:15 p.m. Saturday.
