Versailles volleyball fell in the first set before rebounding for a 21-25, 25-16, 25-19 win at Skyline on Tuesday.

Lendie Nolting had an ace, three blocks, six digs, five kills and 24 assists. Maddy Hibdon had nine kills, nine digs and three blocks. Ali Lent had eight blocks to go with 19 digs and seven kills. Shelby Jackson had three blocks, 11 digs and four kills. Olivia Heisler had four aces, a block, four kills, four assists and five digs. Kenzie Wieberg added three digs.

“We were not passing well to begin the first set and did not attack the ball like we should have,” said Versailles coach Cheryl Wilson. “We adjusted in the second and third sets and passed the ball much better. We played smarter team ball and much better defense. I was impressed with our ability to keep ourselves focused and maintain strong play through out the entire match.”

The Lady Tigers (3-0) travel to Osage Thursday for the first conference match of the season.
