Five people from Lincoln and Warsaw were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 12:25 p.m. Monday on state Route BB at Nichols Lane in Benton County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Devin Baker, 17, of Warsaw, did not yield and drove into the path of Tabitha Lindsay, 36, of Lincoln, the report stated. There were three passengers in Lindsay’s vehicle: Jonathan Lindsay, 16; Michael Lindsay, 14; and Tamika Lindsay, 18, all of Lincoln.
Jonathan, Tabitha and Tamika Lindsay were all taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center on Monday, where they were treated and released, according to a hospital spokesman.
Michael Lindsay and Baker were taken to University Hospital in Columbia. Baker was in fair condition Tuesday morning, and no information was available for Michael, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
Baker was issued a summons for careless and imprudent driving, according to the report.
