True Vine Church

True Vine Church, 600 N. Moniteau Ave., will present “Sedalia and Beyond,” celebrating black history and women’s history at 3 p.m. Sunday. There will be presentations, music, recognitions and a trivia contest with cash prizes. The event is sponsored by the the Sedalia/Pettis County Branch NAACP.

Calvary Episcopal Church Spud Luncheon

The community is invited to the Calvary Episcopal Church, 713 S. Ohio Ave., Annual Spud Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, March 16. The meal will consist of a baked potato and choice of toppings, dessert and a drink for a freewill offering. Spud Luncheon is sponsored by The Mary Polk New Episcopal Women’s Society (NEWS). All of the proceeds will go to Meals on Wheels.

Our Savior Lutheran Ham and Bean Dinner

Our Savior Lutheran Church, 3700 W. Broadway Blvd., will have their 16th annual Ham and Bean Dinner fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 15. Tickets for adults are $5, children under 6 are free. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Proceeds go to Meals on Wheels and funds will be matched by Thrivent.

Breakfast at 7 a.m.; Reflection at 7:30 a.m.; Dismissal at 7:45 a.m.
