Ryan Wood made the game-winning basket in the final minute Friday night, and the Tipton Cardinals beat Cole Camp 49-46 in a Kaysinger Conference boys basketball game in Tipton.

Dylan Cooper scored a game-high 25 points, and Wood had 11.

Koby Knievel paced Cole Camp with 15 points, and Tanner Oelrichs had 13 with 11 coming in the second half.

The Cardinals (5-3) shot out to a 17-6 lead after one quarter and were ahead 25-21 at halftime. Tipton extended its lead to 39-29 entering the final quarter.

Warsaw 61, Skyline 55

Randall Sherman and Jesse Chamberlain combined for 49 points, and the Warsaw Wildcats beat Skyline 61-55 Friday night in Warsaw.

Sherman scored a game-high 25 points, and Chamberlain had 24.

Skyline led 12-7 after one quarter, and the Wildcats pulled ahead 23-20 at halftime. Skyline sliced its deficit to 44-43 by the start of the fourth.

Knob Noster 63, Lone Jack 29

David Barton posted a double-double (16 points and 13 rebounds) Friday night, and the Knob Noster Panthers beat Lone Jack 63-29 in a nonconference boys basketball game at Knob Noster.

Jon McKinzie added 16 points,Brett Marsh had 13 and Hayden Anderson had 11. Each player made two 3-pointers. Anderson tallied six assists, and Garnett Williams and Marsh had three steals each.

Knob Noster (10-0) led 20-4 after one quarter, 31-15 after two and 52-21 after three.

Girls Basketball

Smithton 63, Green Ridge 35

The Smithton girls beat Green Ridge 63-35 Friday night. They led 32-16 going into the half.

Leading Smithton (3-10) was Mariah Cairer with 23 points. Kaley Snapp had 16 points, and Whitney Fisher added 10.
