The Central Missouri Mules blew open a tight ballgame in the second half with a 26-5 run and beat Nebraska-Kearney 85-65 in a MIAA men’s basketball game Saturday in Warrensburg.
The Mules led 47-44 with 15:30 left in the game. Daylen Robinson made back-to-back 3-pointers to start the game-deciding run. Robinson was fouled on the second 3-pointer, and he turned it into a four-point play.
Robinson finished with a career-high 26 points. He added seven assists, four steals and four rebounds. Reserve T.J. White had 15 points and nine rebounds, and Jon Gilliam and Charles Hammork tallied 12 points apiece.
Central Missouri led 38-37 at halftime.
