Applewood Christian took third place in the Lebanon Homeschool girls basketball tournament on Saturday.

Applewood Chrisitian fell in the semifinal to the St. Louis Patriettes 52-42 as the Patriettes led the entire way.

Meredith and Miranda Crosier each scored 19 points for AppleWood Christian as Meredith added 10 rebounds and Miranda had four assists, four blocks and four steals.

Applewood Christian won the third place game, beating the Springfield Rush 66-42.

Applewood Christian jumped out to a 27-7 lead after one quarter and led 44-19 at the half and 58-39 after three quarters.

Meredith Crosier scored 27 points and added seven rebounds. Miranda Crosier scored 22 points and had five rebounds, six assists and seven steals.

Applewood Christian (8-4) will return to Lebanon on Friday to face Lebanon Homeschool.
