Windsor holds off Northwest rally

Windsor held off a Northwest rally to beat the Mustangs 76-72 in a Kaysinger Conference boys basketball game on Friday.

The Greyhounds led 22-17 after one quarter and 44-28 at the half before Northwest chipped away and the lead and trailed 57-50 after three quarters.

Aaron Garoutte led the Greyhounds with 17 points. Trenton Johnson added 16, Quinten Rainner had 15 and Kyle Houts had 14.

Cortlen Austin led Northwest with 27 points. Chandler Crosswhite added 18.

Windsor (8-7, 3-3 Kaysinger) will host Lincoln on Friday.

Northwest will host Stover on Tuesday.
