Green Ridge will face Crest Ridge in a sectional softball playoff at 5 p.m. Monday in Centerview.


The Lady Tigers (11-2) beat Lincoln 3-2 Wednesday to win the District 13 title.


Crest Ridge (18-1) beat top-seeded Sweet Springs 1-0 Thursday to win the District 14 crown.


The two teams didn’t meet this season because their April 25 matchup at Centerview was rained out. They had six common opponents, though.


The Lady Cougars went 9-1 against those teams with its lone loss an 8-6 decision against Santa Fe, but they beat Santa Fe 11-1 in the regular season and 5-4 in the Santa Fe tournament.


The Lady Tigers lost 5-3 to Santa Fe and 7-4 to La Monte in the Kaysinger tournament but they beat La Monte 4-3 in the regular-season matchup. The Lady Cougars beat La Monte 10-0 in the district tournament.


GOLF


Lincoln 180, Green Ridge 195, Concordia 220


Lincoln won its final 9-hole golf match of the year, shooting a 180 to beat Green Ridge (195) and Concordia (220) on Friday at Royal Oaks Golf Course in Knob Noster.


Lincoln’s Boone Kroenke shot a 40 to take medalist honors. Teammate Cody Gregory was the runner-up with a 45.


Green Ridge’s Peyton Needy shot a 46.


LATE THURSDAY


TENNIS


St. Pius X 8, Smith-Cotton 1


Smith-Cotton lost a pair of matches in tiebreakers in an 8-1 loss to West Central Conference rival St. Pius X on Thursday.


The Warriors’ Owen Shields beat Andrew Tilley in the No. 1 singles match in a tiebreaker. The No. 2 doubles match also went to a tiebreaker with St. Pius also pulling that match out with Sean Waters and Luke Ross beating Aaron Walters and Blake Potts.


Smith-Cotton’s Matt Strause beat Waters in the No. 2 singles match 8-5.


St. Pius also pulled out close matches at No. 4 singles where Brendan Hay beat Potts and No. 1 doubles where Shields and Hay beat Tilley and Strouse.


In junior varsity, Smith-Cotton’s Wade Hagebush won his match 7-6 and pulled out a 6-4 doubles win.


TRACK AND FIELD


Warpath Relays


Emilee Proctor, of Warsaw, earned a pair of second-place finishes Thursday at the Warpath Relays at School of the Osage in Osage Beach.


She was second in the shot put (30 feet, 2 inches) and the discus (83-10).


The boys’ 4x400 team earned Warsaw’s other second-place finish. John Hargrave, Jesse Stantforf, Jonathon Plybon and Austin Larsen finished in 4 minutes, 5 seconds.


No team scores were kept.

BASEBALL


I-70 Conference tournament


Top-seeded St. Paul Lutheran and second-seeded Santa Fe advanced to the championship of the I-70 Conference baseball tournament Thursday at Concordia.


St. Paul beat Concordia 3-1, and Santa Fe beat Crest Ridge 6-5 in 10 innings.


On the consolation bracket, Sweet Springs beat Wellington-Napoleon 11-2.


Lone Jack and Sweet Springs were scheduled to play in the consolation game Friday, as did Concordia and Crest Ridge in the third-place game and the championship game.
