The American Legion Post 642 Sedalia Travelers lost both games of Saturday’s doubleheader to the Lee’s Summit Outlaws.


The Travelers fell 11-8 in game one and 6-5 in game two.


Post 642 had a 5-0 lead heading into the fifth inning of game two, but the Outlaws stormed back with one run in the fifth, three in the sixth and two in the ninth to walk-off with the win since they were scored as the home team in game two.


The second Outlaws batter of the ninth inning singled and the third batter blasted the game-winning home run to left field.


Lane McFail singled in Matt Miles in the second inning to give the Travelers a 1-0 lead. Dom Zerilli and A.J. Paul each scored on an error in the fourth inning.


McFail and Dotson drove in the other two fourth-inning runs.
