A two-vehicle crash in Pettis County sent three to the hospital this morning.

Dorothy L. Menges, 71, and Russell L. Menges, 73, both of Edwards, were treated and released from Bothwell Regional Health Center, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

Donald E. McKinney, 44, of Sedalia, was still being evaluated this afternoon, the spokeswoman said.

The accident happened at 11:44 a.m. on U.S. 65 at Anderson School Road, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports. Russell Menges’ vehicle was northbound on U.S. 65 and McKinney was trying to cross the highway.

McKinney’s vehicle struck the Menges’ vehicle on the driver’s side, reports stated. Troopers issued McKinney a summons on a charge of failure to yield.
