Versailles man hurt after car strikes utility pole

A Versailles man sustained moderate injuries following a vehicle accident at 3:20 a.m. Monday in Morgan County.
Benjamin E. Irwin, 23, was driving west on Missouri 52, 50 feet west of Mule Drive when he drove off the left side of the road, hit a utility pole and overturned, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Report.
Irwin, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, was taken to Captial Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City for his injuries.
