Three involved in single-car accident
Two people were injured in a single-car vehicle accident at 4:50 a.m. Saturday in Henry County.
Misti L. Kinner, 36, of Collins, was driving north on Southwest 41 Road, three-tenths of a mile south of Eighth Street, when the vehicle traveled off the road and struck a tree branch. The vehicle then traveled off the other side of the road and struck a tree, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Two occupants in Kinner’s vehicle, Katelyn E. Bean, 19, and Melinda I. Davis, both of Clinton, were taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton with minor injuries. Reports indicate Kinner was wearing a seat belt but Bean and Davis were not.
Woman injured in Henry County crash
A Shawnee, Kan., woman was injured in a vehicle accident at 10:55 a.m. Friday in Henry County.
George R. Mills, 72, of Shawnee, Kan., was driving south on state Route 7, just north of state Route O, when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a concrete culvert and overturned, coming to rest on the driver’s side, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
An occupant in Mills’ vehicle, Judith A. Mills, 72, was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton with moderate injuries. Reports indicate they both were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
One injured in Pettis County accident
An Otterville man was injured in a vehicle accident at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Pettis County.
Rodney A. Otter, 47, and Emalie G. Oehrke, 17, of Florence, were both driving west on U.S. Highway 50, four-tenths of a mile west of state Route TT, when Oehrke struck the rear of Otter’s vehicle as he was slowing down, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Otter was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries. Reports indicate both drivers were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Two injured in Moniteau County crash
Two men were injured in a vehicle accident at 11:15 a.m. Saturday in Moniteau County.
Danny C. Gamphor, 56, of Barnett, was driving north on state Route 5, a half mile north of East Manito Road, when
he struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Jeffery D. Bowman, 36, of Versailles. Gamphor’s vehicle skidded off the road and overturned, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Gamphor and a passenger in his vehicle, Denny J. Gamphor, 56, of Eldon, were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for their injuries. Reports indicate Danny and Bowman were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, but Denny was not.
