Woman injured in Pettis County


A Houstonia woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday in Pettis County.


Lisa Bass, 46, was westbound on state Route H near Cherry Tree Lane when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree and a concrete culvert before coming to rest in a creek, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.


Bass was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries. Reports indicate she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Woman injured in boat trailer collision


A Clinton woman was injured in a collision at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Henry County.


Courtney R. Raines, 31, was northbound on state Route W near SE 550 Road when her vehicle crossed the center of the roadway and struck the boat trailer of a vehicle driven by Jerry T. Schwatch, 62, of Clinton, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.


Raines was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Reports indicate both drivers were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

One injured in Sedalia crash


A Sedalia man was injured in a collision at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and Winchester Drive in Sedalia.


Kevin J. Matz, 45, was northbound on Winchester Drive when a vehicle driven west on U.S. Highway 50 by Richard J. Stokes, 33, of Ash Grove, struck the rear driver side of Matz’s vehicle, according to Sedalia Police Department reports.


Matz was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center with apparent injuries. Reports indicate Matz was wearing a seat belt and Stokes was not at the time of the accident.
