Sedalia man injured on ATV
A Sedalia man was injured in an ATV accident at 1:48 p.m. Wednesday in Pettis County.
Clyde D. Roak, 70, was driving on Sacajawea Road west of Hackberry Drive when his ATV traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Roak was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries. Reports indicate he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Three injured in Johnson County
Three people were injured in a collision at 7:52 a.m. Wednesday in Johnson County.
Christine L. Lynde, 38, of Leeton, was driving west on U.S. Highway 50 just west of NW 251 Road when her vehicle overtook and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Patricia A. Havas, 47, of Warrensburg, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Lynde was taken to Lee’s Summit Medical Center with moderate injuries, Havas was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center with moderate injuries and passenger Thomas C. Havas, 13, of Warrensburg, was taken to Warrensburg with minor injuries. Reports indicate all parties were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision.
