Centerview teen killed in traffic crash

A Centerview teenager was killed when his vehicle struck a tractor trailer last weekend in Lafayette County, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.

David A. Bunn, 18, died in the accident about 7:25 a.m. Saturday on Missouri Route O at Wheatley Road, the patrol reported.

The driver of the tractor trailer, Connie E. Spade, 54, of Wellington, was not injured.

The accident occurred as Bunn tried to turn left in front of the semi truck, the patrol reported. The truck hit Bunn’s vehicle in the passenger side. The impact sent Bunn’s vehicle off the road and threw him from the car. He was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
