Perkins' Free Pancake Day to benefit Give Kids the World
In an effort to benefit Give Kids the World, Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Sedalia will be holding a Free Pancake Day from 6 to 11 a.m. Monday, which is Presidents’ Day.
According to a news release from Perkins, guests are invited to enjoy a free short stack of Perkins' buttermilk pancakes.
“All we ask is that our guests consider making a donation to Give Kids the World, a terrific, 70-acre non-profit resort that creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families,” Jerry Claringbole, vice president of area operations for Perkins, said.
Give Kids the World is located in Florida.
Since 1990, the Free Pancake Day has provided Perkins an opportunity to support Give Kids the World, the release stated. Perkins also operates the Gingerbread House, a 300-seat restaurant located in the heart of Give Kids the World Village, where more than 3.5 million free meals have been served.
