Officers were looking for a man who robbed a woman at knife point while at a Sedalia Laundromat, according to Sedalia Police.

Deanna Muse, 50, of Sedalia, reported at 3:48 p.m. Monday a man robbed her of money while she was at the coin laundry at 1701 E. Broadway Blvd., officers said.

The man had a large knife, reports stated. He demanded cash, Muse gave him $250 and the man left without harming Muse. Muse recognized the man from seeing him in her neighborhood near the 1100 block of East Sixth Street, but didn’t know him by name, officers said.
