Ward was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Angela Grant, 31, of Sedalia. Grant was taken by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center. Grant was taken by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center where she was treated and released, said a hospital spokeswoman.

The accident happened when James G. Sears, 26, of Knob Noster, was westbound on 16th Street. Sears’ car collided with Grant’s northbound vehicle at South Ohio Avenue.

Officers are investigating the crash. Those who have information can contact Patrolwoman Victoria Kottman or Patrolman Mike DeHaven at 826-8100 ext. 125.
