Sedalia woman injured in crash on 16th Street
A Sedalia woman was taken to the hospital Wednesday following a two-vehicle crash on 16th Street, reports stated.
Cynthia Wasson, 47, of 27052 Camp Branch Road, was taken to Bothwell Regional Medical Center after her westbound motorcycle was hit in the side by a northbound sport-utility vehicle driven by Shirley M. Dick, 64, of 1610 W. 13th St., about 7:15 p.m. as Dick tried to cross over 16th Street on Warren Avenue, according to Sedalia Police Deparment reports.
Wasson was transferred to University Hospital in Columbia, a hospital spokesman said.
