A Warsaw man was killed Monday morning when he was thrown from a four-wheeler, the Highway Patrol reported.

Glenn M. Hook, 76, was driving an all-terrain vehicle on Bent Tree Drive in Benton County at about 10 a.m. Monday. Hook lost control of the four-wheeler, which started to spin out before ejecting him, troopers reported.

Hook was transported to Opportunity Farms Landing Zone at state Route Z and Missouri Highway 7, where he was pronounced dead at 11:39 a.m. by Benton County Acting Coroner James Hahn. Hook was later taken to Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw.
