Three injured in ATV accident
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Three teens were hurt Sunday in a head-on collision between an all-terrain vehicle and a pickup truck in Morgan County.
Andrew M. Webb, 19, and his sister, Jade Webb, 16, both of Versailles, were taken by ambulance to St. Mary’s Health Center in Jefferson City after the accident at about 3 p.m. Sunday. Both were treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Skyler G. Chambers, 17, of Eldon, suffered minor injuries in the accident but refused treatment, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports. He was a passenger in the pickup truck.
The accident happened north of Versailles on Sheep Drive, less than a half-mile east of Great Oaks Drive. Andrew Webb was eastbound on a 2006 Suzuki ATV, and he skidded across the center line and collided head-on with a 1997 Chevrolet driven by his sister, Jade Webb, troopers reported.
