La Monte PTO hosting Falling Into Fun

The La Monte PTO will be hosting games, dancing, dinner and contests during the Falling Into Fun event from 2:30 to 10 p.m. today.

Lawn mower races will begin at 2:30 p.m. with a grand prize of a Craftsman toolbox. The homemade ice cream contest will being at 4 p.m. and a dinner featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, bakes beans, potato salad, chips and cookies will be served until 7 p.m.

Old fashioned games include a milk jug toss, pedal pull and cake walk. Face painting and a haunted house will be also be available.

The Harvest Moon Hoedown will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. and harvest royalty will be crowned.

Events will take place at the La Monte High School old gymnasium, the multipurpose building and the agriculture building at La Monte High School.
