Man injured after falling from, getting hit by towed vehicle
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A Windsor man was injured after being hit by a towed vehicle Saturday.
John R. Snethen, 32, was taken by helicopter with moderate injuries to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.
The accident occurred at 7:46 p.m. as Snethen was in a vehicle being towed by another vehicle driven by William C. Daniel, 38, of Clinton. The vehicles were traveling southbound on SE 1271 Road just south of SE 725 road in Green Ridge, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Snethen attempted to leave the towed vehicle and fell and was hit by the towed vehicle, according to the report.
