Motorcycle crash sends Pettis County man to hospital
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A man was injured when he crashed his motorcycle Wednesday in Pettis County.
Charles E. Oquest, 61, of Sweet Springs, was taken by ambulance to I-70 Medical Center. He was treated and transferred to University Hospital in Columbia, said a hospital spokesman.
The accident happened at 2:15 p.m. when Oquest was driving his motorcycle on Missouri 127 less than a mile north of state Route D, according to Missouri Highway Patrol reports. He drove off the right side of the road and the motorcycle overturned. Oquest was thrown from the motorcycle, which then struck a sign.
