Child injured in Cooper County accident
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A five-year-old Otterville child was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Cooper County on Friday.
Vickie K. Frisbese was taken by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center with moderate injuries.
The accident occurred as Lisa M. McDowell, 18, of Otterville, was northbound on state Route BB just north of Otterville. McDowell’s vehicle drove off the right side of the road. McDowell overcorrected and the vehicle went off the left side of the road and hit a tree, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
McDowell did not seek treatment and Vickie and McDowell were not wearing seat belts, the report states.
