ATV driver hospitalized after hitting propane tank

A Knob Noster man struck a propane tank while driving an all-terrain vehicle Monday, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
Christopher J. Jordan, 22, was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence at about 5:15 p.m. for the treatment of moderate injuries.
Jordan was operating a four-wheeler on private property near the 300 block of SE 821 Road, southwest of Knob Noster, when he struck a propane tank and was thrown from the ATV, troopers reported.
No summons were issued in the accident investigation.
