Law Day cases for Nov. 10
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Judge Robert L. Koffman heard the following cases Tuesday in Pettis County Circuit Court, according to Prosecuting Attorney Jeff Mittelhauser:
•Ronald Callahan, 39, of Camdenton, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated, an offense which occurred Aug. 16. Trooper P. B. Sublette arrested Callahan for a traffic violation near the Missouri State Fairgrounds and found that he was intoxicated. The offense was a felony because Callahan has four prior convictions for DWI or BAC. He was sentenced to serve five years in prison.
•Pamela Hoskins, 47, of Sedalia, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. She was arrested by Sedalia Patrolman Cameron Egan on June 22 when he found a small amount of methamphetamine in her purse during an investigation into a disturbance. Hoskins was admitted into the Drug Court Program.
•Lisa Whittington, 39, of Sedalia, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine in connection with a May 8 investigation by the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office. During the execution of a search warrant at Whittington’s home at 3370 S. New York Ave., deputies found a small amount of methamphetamine in Whittington’s pack of cigarettes. Whittington was admitted in the Drug Court Program.
