Sedalia man injured in one-vehicle crash

A Sedalia man was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Pettis County on Friday.

Nicanor Esquivel, 64, was taken by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center with moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 11:15 p.m. as Esquivel was northbound on state Route U at Weller Road near Sedalia.

Esquivel’s vehicle drove off the right side of the road and stopped in a ditch. Esquivel then left his vehicle and fell in the ditch, injuring himself, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
