Smithton helicopter pad ribbon cutting postponed

The ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Air Evac Lifeteam helicopter pad in Smithton scheduled for Saturday has been postponed due to weather.

The pad is a community project headed by a local Eagle Scouts group. The 20-by-20 foot pad was funded and built by community businesses and individuals.

A rescheduled date and time has not been set yet.
