Henry County deputies arrested a Windsor man Monday after finding marijuana and chemicals used for manufacturing methamphetamine during the execution of a search warrant.

Donald Honeycutt, 40, faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon.

On Monday, deputies searched a home, outbuildings and vehicles at 107 Steele Street in Windsor, where they discovered drug paraphernalia and chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine.

Officers received a report of a man with a gun walking down Steele Street before serving the warrant. Honeycutt, who has been convicted of a felony charge previously, was illegally in possession of a firearm.

Sheriff J. Kent Oberkrom expects additional arrests are forthcoming in the ongoing investigation.
