A Sedalia woman was injured Tuesday in a crash on Cherry Tree Lane, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Lindsey M. Pospisil, 19, was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center with moderate injuries just after 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Pospisil was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Sedalia resident Dalton T. Morrison at the time of the accident, troopers reported. Morrison was northbound on Cherry Tree Lane, about a mile south of State Fair Boulevard, when he ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

Troopers reported charges are pending in the ongoing crash investigation.
