Woman hospitalized after Henry County crash

An Osceola woman was hospitalized Friday morning after driving off the road and striking a concrete barrier on state Route 13 in Henry County.

Kathryn D. Brown, 57, was airlifted to Research Hospital in Kansas City with moderate injuries, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.

Brown was northbound on state Route 13, just south of SE 500, when she traveled off the right side of the road, overcorrected, crossed back over and ran off the left side of the road before striking a concrete barrier. Troopers reported Brown was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

The Highway Patrol, Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Deepwater Police Department continue to investigate the wreck, according to reports.
