Warsaw woman injured in Benton County crash

A Warsaw woman was hospitalized after a two-vehicle wreck Wednesday on U.S. Highway 65 in Benton County, according to Missouri Highway Patrol reports.

Bernice M. Christian, 81, was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment of moderate injuries, troopers reported.

The accident happened as Christian was traveling south at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 65. Lincoln resident Tina Treece, 81, had stopped in traffic to make a turn, and Christian struck the back of Treece’s vehicle.

Treece was not injured in the accident.

Troopers reported a summons is pending in the ongoing investigation.
