Pink Zone night at SFCC to support breast cancer awareness

State Fair Community College will sponsor Pink Zone night Wednesday at home basketball games in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on campus.

Pink Zone night is dedicated to breast cancer awareness and is sponsored by the Davis Center and the Athletic Department, according to an SFCC news release.

The Lady Roadrunners will play North Arkansas College at 5:30 p.m. The Lady Roadrunners will wear pink T-shirts during warm up and both teams will wear pink shoelaces to support breast cancer awareness.

The Roadrunners will play North Arkansas College at 7:30 p.m.

The Spirit Squad also will wear pink for its performance during halftime of the men’s game. Gate proceeds and proceeds from a Spirit Squad 50/50 raffle will be donated to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund to help fight cancer.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness.
