Sweet Springs woman injured in accident

A two-vehicle accident in Pettis County on Wednesday sent a Sweet Springs woman to the hospital.
Passenger Robin G. Deweese, 39, was transported to I-70 Medical Center in Sweet Springs.
Deweese was treated and released, according to hospital spokesman.
The accident occurred at 4:02 p.m. as Lisa K. Drexler, 43, of Sedalia, was westbound on Salt Fork Road near Highway 127.
Drexler’s vehicle hit a vehicle driven by James R. Deweese, 19, of Sweet Springs, as he was driving south on Highway 127.
Drexler was issued a summons on a charge of failing to stop at a stop sign, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
