A Lowry City teenager was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident in Johnson County on Saturday, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Aaron W. Weidinger, 18, was transported by ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. The hospital does not release patient conditions.

The accident occurred around 5 p.m. on Highway 13 at state Route Y.

According to the report, Weidinger was southbound on Highway 13 when his vehicle rear-ended one driven by Benjamin C. Bachman, 43, of Warrensburg, who was waiting to turn left onto state Route Y.
