Kingsville woman dies after being struck by vehicle

A Kingsville woman died on Saturday after being struck while walking beside a highway in Kingsville.

Susan A. Niermeier, 58, was walking at 6:10 a.m. on state Route 58, south of Maple Street, when she was struck by a vehicle driven by Dustin M. Raysik, 36, of Pleasant Hill, traveling eastbound, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Niermeier was pronounced dead at the scene by Johnson County assistant coroner David Adair at 7:11 a.m. according to the report.
