Police arrest two on drug charges after serving search warrant
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Police Department’s STING Unit arrested two adults after serving a search warrant at a Sedalia home.
Detectives with the STING (Strike Team Investigations of Narcotics and Gangs) Unit, along with other Sedalia officers, searched a home in the 1600 block of East Ninth Street. Officers arrested Janice Bryan, 43, and Justin Crum, 22.
Bryan was charged with manufacture of a controlled substance near a school, a class A felony, and Crum was charged with possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of an illegal weapon, both class A misdemeanors.
Officers found marijuana, methamphetamine, acid, digital scales and drug paraphernalia, according to Sedalia Police Department reports. Crum went to the home while officers were still there. Officers searched Crum and found individually packaged marijuana and brass knuckles, reports stated.
