Preliminary hearing for triple-homicide suspect postponed
A hearing scheduled for today for the man charged in this summer’s triple homicide of a Cole Camp family was postponed.
Robert Blurton, 45, was scheduled to appear in Benton County Circuit Court today for his preliminary hearing, which was postponed until Dec. 16 at the request of the capital crimes division public defender representing him in the case.
Blurton was charged in June with three counts of first-degree murder in the slayings of Donald, Sharon and Taron Luetjen, who were found shot to death in their Cole Camp home June 9.
Blurton, who is being jailed in lieu of a $3 million bond, is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Dec. 16 for his preliminary hearing.
