Two injured after ice sheet hits windshield

Two Green Ridge residents were injured after a sheet of ice hit their windshield Friday.
Kim D. Durrill, 43 and Thomas L. Durrill, 45, were transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.
Kim and Thomas were in good condition Saturday, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
The accident occurred at 10:55 a.m. as Thomas was westbound on MO-52 east of Northeast 951st Road near Clinton. A sheet of ice came off an unknown vehicle traveling eastbound on MO-52 and hit Thomas’ windshield, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
