A Gravois Mills woman was injured after she was thrown from her vehicle as it rolled over several times, according to Missouri Highway Patrol reports.

Bessie Loudner, 36, was taken by helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia. She was in critical condition Tuesday, said a hospital spokeswoman.

The accident happened at 4 p.m. Monday on state Route 5, just north of Laurie city limits in Morgan County.

Loudner was northbound when she drove off the right side of the road into a ditch. Her vehicle rolled over several times, throwing Loudner across the road into the southbound ditch, troopers reported. The vehicle landed on its wheels in the northbound lane.
