Warsaw woman hurt in U.S. 65 crash

A Warsaw woman received serious injuries after a vehicle accident at 7:03 p.m. Wednesday in Benton County.

Tammy L. Lukecart, 34, of Warsaw, was attempting to make a left turn onto U.S. 65 Highway, when she was run into by Bobby C. Arnett, 67, of Preston, who was driving south on U.S. 65, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Reports indicate Lukecart failed to yield to Arnett’s vehicle.

A passenger in Lukecart’s vehicle, Pamela J. Lukecart, 60, of Warsaw, was life flighted to University Hospital in Columbia for her injuries. Reports show Arnett was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident but Tammy and Pamela Lukecart were not.

Information is taken from preliminary Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, which do no necessarily contain statements from all parties involved.
