Edwards woman injured in accident

An Edwards woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Benton County, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Cheryl A. Andrews, 45, was taken by ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, where she was treated and released, according to a hospital spokesman.
The accident occurred about 1:30 p.m. Thursday on Lost Valley Road east of the U.S. 65 Outer Road.
Andrews’ vehicle struck a ditch and overturned, according to the Highway Patrol. She was issued a summons charging her with careless and imprudent driving.
