(NAPSI)—A clever way to save energy can help you keep your home heating money from going out the window. That’s because windows provide the biggest openings between indoor air and the elements outside and the biggest opportunity for valuable energy to escape, accounting for approximately 25 to 50 percent of energy loss in a home.

Inefficient, single-pane windows are the biggest culprit for energy loss. Replacing old windows with double- or triple-pane insulating glass is the one way to reduce energy costs-but no longer the only choice.
