Seeing that there was but a single contested race in the most recent municipal election, losing a member of the Sedalia City Council most certainly leaves a void that will be tough to fill.
But when that member is Ward 1 Councilman Tony Arbisi, the task becomes even tougher. Arbisi has landed a job as the technology director for the Belton School District; his wife, Melissa, already works in Kansas City, so they will be moving out of Sedalia. He announced his resignation at the July 2 council meeting.
